Chickasaw Early Learning Center is closed for two days due to the Flu and Strep throat spreading throughout the school. Teachers have been working hard all morning cleaning making sure that everything is germ free before these kids come back to school. They are using bleach and Lysol on all toys, chairs and learning materials.
School officials tell NBC 15 that 9 kids were sent home with temperatures of 101 degrees and that’s been the trend this week.
Multiple classes had children absent with an illness. Teachers say it’s been concerning for some parents dropping their kids off and seeing half of the class was gone due to an illness.
