Hot Toys Unleashes 3 New Versions of Boba Fett from THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK

From the moment that Boba Fett came onscreen in The Empire Strikes Back, Star Wars fans were immediately captivated by the most feared bounty hunter in the galaxy. After all, Darth Vader had to specifically tell Boba Fett that there were to be “no disintegrations” this time. Now, Hot Toys is paying tribute to the iconic character with three high-end figures.

This is a 1/6 scale reproduction of Boba Fett as he appeared in Empire, complete with his Mandalorian helmet and armor, as well as his blasters, cape, and jetpack in addition to a figure stand. It’s currently available for pre-order at Sideshow Collectibles for $235 with an estimated shipping date in the first quarter of 2019. But if you’re willing to spend an extra $32 then you can opt for the deluxe version of this figure.

The biggest selling point of the deluxe version are the increased number of interchangeable parts and the armor that is based on Boba Fett’s look in pre-production for Empire. This is the first time that version of Boba Fett has been created in this scale, and even Darth Vader would say that it is “most impressive.” Sideshow is also offering pre-orders for the deluxe edition with a retail price of $267 and a first quarter 2019 release date. But the version that we’re really excited about is the animated Boba Fett figure inspired by his true first appearance in the Star Wars Holiday Special.

This was previously a New York Comic Con exclusive, but it is now available for pre-order for $235, and it will be released sometime between April and June of this year. You can find more pictures of each version of Hot Toys’ Boba Fett in our gallery below.
